- Dec 7th, 2021: I had a conference call with Senator Andre Jacque and Representative Mike Gallagher’s Office
- We discussed Funding within the state of WI based on a law passed in PA, SB 74, which would provide funding to childhood cancer research through a tax credit program, it ultimately was added to the state budget and added 10 million dollars a year to research, I’m trying to mirror this in WI and eventually across all 50 states.
- We also discussed medical records access and the hardships associated with transferring records between facilities, I’m hoping to create a “cloud based” system idea that will allow all doctors on-demand access for second opinions and general treatments.
- Jan 4th, 2022: Meeting with Congressman Mike Gallagher @ Holy Spirit School as he discusses letters written to him by Jaycee’s classmates, i will be updating any information I have received so far.
- I am in constant contact with both offices and will continue to work until my ideas are realized and Jaycee’s name is written on a piece of legislation that will make life better for all the warriors of the future until a Cure is found!
- Jaycee’s Law SB 112 (WI) is in circulation and looking for sponsors c/o Sen. Jacque, It was introduced on 2/14/2023 on Jaycee’s 10th Heavenly Birthday.
- Rep. Gallagher has signed on as a sponsor for the Give Kids a Chance Act
